Another day we are blessed with…
Back to work and school for us now that the holidays are over. Tomorrow we will have a farewell dinner with Tanya. She heads back to London Thursday night. It has been wonderful to text message her or just cal without worrying if I have money in my international calling account. School starts for me Jan 26th. I am joying the break.

Another day we are blessed with…
I can not believe it is 2009! Time seems to just be flying by. We had a fun New Year’s Eve. We went to our neighbor’s house. I had fun with Tanya. We shopped and went for lunch at a new falafel place. She leaves on Thursday night. We will have dinner with her Wednesday. It has been great spending time with her. I miss her so. The boys are back to school tomorrow. They got to go skiing once while on vacation

Another day we are blessed with…
Christmas was quiet but very nice. Tanya came over unexpectedly but quite welcome. She brought many British treats, Ecclefechan tarts, mince pies and mulled wine just to mention a few. She will stay overnight with us before she leaves on Jan 8th. Clayton and I have decided that we will definitly visit her at some point. Now that she is in love with a Brit I am sure she will stay there. She just got her visa recently. I received a GPS from Clayton so we went geocaching this afternoon. It was very fun when we ran into vetrans that showed us how to find the cache.

Another day we are blessed with…
I had my math final last night. I got an 81! I still finished with a C+ but thats ok I am DONE!! I have only classes for my major left. Math and english are complete. I will enjoy the break until Jan 26th
We have told our families that we are going away and we will be having a quiet Christmas. Long story short we invited everyone here for Christmas eve but they failed to mention they couldn’t make it. Our neighbor wants us to go over for dinner tomorrow but we are really fine being home. The boys will have their gifts and everyone will be happy I am sure. I cose with one of my favorite poems…
Twas the Night Jesus Came
‘Twas the night Jesus came and all through the house
Not a person was praying, not one in the house.
The Bibles were left on the shelf without care,
For no one thought that Jesus would come there.
The children were dressing to crawl into bed,
Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head.
And mom in her rocker with baby in her lap
Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap.
